What is Buzz-Me and User-Centric Identity (UCI)?
Buzz-MeTM is an application that allows you to control your digital communication channels such as Skype, IM, mobile, e-mail through the application of user-centric-identity (UCI). UCI allows you to control and unify digital identifiers (mobile no, email ID, IM handle) through an i-name or some other unique identifier, which you own and control.
What is an i-name?
An i-name is a human-friendly, identifier such as =ajay. It's like a "super e-mail ID". The user owns and controls it, not a service provider – that's why it's user-centric. The prefix "=" is used for a human i-name – that's why the platform is called EqualsTM
How does Buzz-Me work?
Buzz-MeTM allows you to set your preferred mode of communication (Skype, IM, e-ail, landline, mobile), the level of access you choose to give people trying to contact you (Inner Circle, Friends, Extended Networks), and your context (work, play, relaxed). Once those values are set, you only receive communications in the ways you want, from the people you want. Explore Equals to see how it works.
What are my system requirements to use Buzz-Me?

How do I install and configure Buzz-Me?
We are currently in closed alpha. In order to use Buzz Me! you have to request membership of a Facebook group Buzz Me! We will be opening up Buzz Me! for use to larger audiences every week. Once your request is authorized you will receive an email confirmation with steps to install and configure Buzz Me!
Once authorized, just add the application to your profile like any other Facebook application. The installer guides you through a simple install process that requires you to verify your mobile number. Once that is done, the application is ready to use.
